Statement of Faith

The Bible:

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original languages.

The Trinity:

We believe the one true God manifests himself in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Deity of Jesus Christ:

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His complete conquest over the powers of Satan, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return in like manner as He went away.

Salvation:

We believe that the new birth is essential for salvation and that this salvation is wholly by grace through Faith.

The Church:

We believe the church faith consists of all those who truly believe in Jesus Christ and in His atoning death, and who trust in Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit:

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, born again Christians are enabled to live Godly lives.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:

We believe in a second experience following the new birth, which is referred to as the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This experience is not required for the new birth but is pertinent to living a successful and impactful life in Christ. (Matthew 3:11 & Acts 2:4)

Heaven and Hell:

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the lost, unto eternal damnation; they that are saved unto eternal life. (John 5:28)

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit:

We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12 are available and operational in the body of Christ today.

Gender:

We believe God made 2 unique genders “Male and female” as is clearly stated in Gen 1:27. Those genders are unique and designed as such by God himself. Gal 3:28-29 shows us that God does not use gender to assign special privileges within the church.  We observe that the Bible gives us many examples of women leaders, women teachers and even speaks of Junia a woman who was praised as being an “outstanding apostle” (Rom 16:7). We encourage women to pursue God’s calling on their life and we believe that can include teaching and leadership in or out of the church. Click here for more details

Healing:

We believe that redemption was provided for the spirit, soul, and body in the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Baptism and Holy Communion:

We believe in the ordinance of Baptism in water (by immersion) in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, on the authority of Jesus name. We also believe in the ordinance of Holy Communion which is a powerful symbol to be done “in remembrance” of Him as He instructed.
